Myofascia and muscle tightness is closely related to the connective tissue. In the myofascial release yoga class, weโ€™ll use the body weight with foam roller, massage balls and other props to release overly tense muscle and myofascia. Through working with the breath, at a slow pace, focusing on building up a deliberate wave of pressure to produce a deep local stretch, we also awaken our awareness. Through this release method, weโ€™ll increase muscular flexibility, circulation and openness. With the asana practices before and after the release, weโ€™ll experience the complimentary benefits of the asana practice and myofascia release style
